FoFi's musical palette is a fusion of Afrobeats, Afro-Mandingue, Hip Hop, and R&B, a testament to his eclectic taste and cultural roots. Singing in his native Mandingo, seamlessly interwoven with English and French, FoFi crafts a unique sonic experience that resonates with diverse audiences.
In the early 1990s, FoFi D BOSS migrated to the United States, seeking refuge from the brutal civil war in Liberia. His journey led him through Sierra Leone, Ivory Coast, and Guinea, each chapter influencing his musical evolution and expanding the spectrum of his artistic expression.
Beyond the stage, FoFi D BOSS is a scholar and engineer, holding a Bachelor's of Science in Electrical/Electronics Engineering and a Master's of Science in Computer Science with a focus on Telecommunications and Networking. By day, he thrives as a professional engineer in embedded products development, designing hardware and crafting embedded (Linux) software/firmware.
