Swiss based modern melodic jazz quartet featuring Linus Amstad on alto saxophone, Valentin v. Fischer on the bass, Philipp Leibundgut on the drums and Florian Weiss on trombone.
It was Florian Weiss, who founded Woodism (formerly Woodoism) in 2014. The band has been touring all over Europe, Siberia and South America ever since, was awarded with the prestigous ZKB Jazzprize in 2018 and has been part of the Pro Helvetia High Priority Jazz Promotion Program from 2020 - 2023. In 2024, the group will release its fourth album called "Inner Garden".
