French producer and composer nu_tone has a committed ethic to working with artists over the
long term. Involved in the entire process of creation, from songwriting, production and finishing
albums to the musical direction on tour/live performances; he's the guy you call to realise a
project.
Hailing from Lyon, the now Paris based producer cut his teeth as a drummer and musical director
performing across the UK, Europe and USA. These experiences around the world have informed
his musical ear. Not bound by one style or genre, nu_tone draws inspiration from the alternative
musical soundscapes he has absorbed on his creative journey.
The human dimension is central to his approach and nu_tone has a unique ability in helping bring
this element out of the artists he works with. Through the use of analogue synths and sampling he
finds the essence of the Hip Hop he produces; often surrounded by his team of musicians.
He launched his production career in 2020 with Nelson Dialect on the album ‘Opal Mind’. An array
of collaborations followed, including with Ibrahim Maalouf, Yes*, D Smoke, Posdnous (De la Soul),
Thaïs Lona, Erick the Architect, Enfantsdepauvres, Numah among many others.
In June 2023, he released his first double single as an artist: Artifact / The Old Man and the Sea;
heralding the release of his forthcoming debut album in the last quarter of 2023.
