Born Daniel Anthony Parra (1975), this singer/songwriter felt a link to the soulful music his parents played around the house. Although he grew up in San Diego, CA, it wasn’t until after high school that he started creating music in Los Angeles by becoming a part of two R&B groups as well as embarking on his first solo career by working with producers such as Mhax Heisenberg & Phab of Private Stock, Chris "Thee Arsonist" Jenkins (BBD, Jesse Powell, Patrice "Buttaphly" Stewart), Mark J. Feist (Destiny's Child, Mary J. Blige) and Five Star's Del Pearson (Amerie, Immature).
To date, Daniel has released 5 projects: "All God, No Me" (2015), “TwoTwelve" (2019), "More Than -The Anthem EP" (2020), "Glory: Book One" and"Glory: Book Two" (2022). He has also collaborated with other gospel and chh artists, such as Psalt-E, Ryland Junior, GO YE, Big UNC, Ty Scott King, Iron Will, Trav Da Poet, King David tha Vessel, Steven Bell and The Found8tion, all under the name “Daniel Anthony”. But, due to years of conflicting online presence from music to film, he decided to rebrand himself and begin a new chapter under the name “iAMDANTHONY”.
