Emergency Escape Plan is an instrumental and electronic music formation, created by French composer and bass player, Jordi Authier, in Toulouse 2022, after meeting independent producer and ‘ableton wizard’ of Jamiroquai, Howard Whiddett (AKA Sandancer. From this meeting, two worlds collided to create one, mixing Whiddett's subtle and powerful electronic production with Authier’s highly arranged and almost orchestral compositions, culminating in poetic and intense instrumental electronic music.
Emergency Escape plan also involved collaboration from many talented artists including Charlie Burg (Saxophonist), Robin Espagnet (Guitarist), Leo Coleman (Synthesizer and Piano) and Octave Lissner Lissner (Singer). This wonderful group of musicians (with backgrounds such as Jazz, Hip Hop, Electronic, Classical, Folk and Pop music), came together to create this musical invitation to meditate and dance, with the aim to offer you a beautiful escape plan from reality.
Fans of Bonobo, Moby, Thom Yorke and Apparat will enjoy the combination of the infectious rippling rhythms and delicate melodies with the darker grooves and the harsher electronic sounds. After countless hours of music experimentation and composition, Emergency Escape Plan is proud to release their first single, from their debut EP The Creator has a Plan B, on September 2023.
