Leo Quirós (San José, Costa Rica, June 24, 1999) is an artist preparing to release his debut album Decade, where he shares his first ten years of making music through ten songs written over the last decade. The album connects the 15-year-old writing heartbreak songs in his bedroom with the 25-year-old artist about to share his music with the world.
The first single, Where We Once Laid (2016), is a Pop-Folk song whose instrumentation captures a “cinematic” experience, ideal for audiovisual montages of landscapes and emotional moments. Its lyrics, although romantic, convey a sense of nostalgia, like “that letter you write to the person you secretly liked but never confessed your feelings to.”
