🌺New EP Anthesis – A tribute to life 🌍
Le Sly, whose real name is Sylvain Rebichon, is a multi-instrumentalist composer blending Funk, Hip-Hop, RnB, and Jazz. Coming from a family of musicians, he trained in various instruments (drums, bass, trumpet…) before embarking on a career as a producer. Influenced by Earth, Wind and Fire, Marcus Miller, and Quincy Jones, he has worked on numerous projects, collaborating with both French and international artists. His EP Anthesis (2025) represents his sonic quest, combining modernity with vintage textures. Inspired by the anthesis – the blooming period of flowers – this album celebrates the beauty of nature while denouncing human excesses. A true musical journey, it serves as an ode to life, the vibrations of the elements, and the harmony of our environment. His Nipsey Hussle Tribute, a homage to the Los Angeles rapper murdered in 2019, is a remix project that began while Nipsey was still alive and took on a new dimension following his death. It includes tracks like Who Detached Us Remix and Question #1, in collaboration with Shtidaxx and Ivorian artist Obou Gbais, arranged by Élie Dufour, Brice Bottin, and Wetakeoff who helps Le Sly building his own path in the industry. Le Sly is also featured as the master of arrangements on the debut album Wefly by the latter.
Always in search of growth, Le Sly continues to explore and share his findings in order to provoke thought or simply touch the soul of the listeners who cross the path of his art.
