$amo Heung, also known as Sammy Bravo, was born and raised in Washington DC. He's an original member of the group The Beggas, a Wu-Tang Clan Killa Bee affiliated crew. The Beggas had released several singles in the mid 90s, one of which was “On the Strength”, a song first featured on The RZA Presents : Wu Tang Killer Bees “The Swarm” album.
Tragically, Wu-Chi (The Begga Clan's RZA) was killed in an unexpected accident shortly after the album was released. This had caused the break up of the group and a deep sense of sorrow for everyone, especially $amo.
Samo was deeply affected by the death of his fellow Begga. Despite the tragedy, he still had a passion for music and was determined to keep moving forward. He returned to recording music using his given Killa Bee moniker and continues to release new projects throughout the year. He wanted to honor his fallen friend and show the world what could have been if Wu-Chi was still alive.
To show his commitment to his craft, Samo has been working hard in the studio and collaborating with other artists. He also plans to continue performing and spreading his message of inspiration through music. He wants to show the world that despite the tragedy and sorrow, there is still hope and beauty in life.
