KLAR is a union of young creative artists who for the first time is a union of young creative artists who for the first time write, produce and release a song together from start to finish. They didn't know each other before and that's what makes their music so special. The individual styles of each of them come together to form a clear, coherent whole, no matter how different or contradictory they may be. It is a university project of the Leuphana University of Lüneburg, where creativity and the desire to create know no bounds. The musicians bring different experiences and thought processes with them and take on different roles in the creative process:
The sound designer - With his experimental, but at the same time nostalgic sounds, he determines the musical character. He creates typical New Wave sounds, but puts them in a new and modern context that makes the song stand out.
The beat builder - He brings the song into a clear structure, which is however also good for surprises. He designs the structure and brings the individual styles and musical moments together perfectly.
The singer and lyricist - The matching beat and the sounds of her colleagues are the perfect basis, for her lyrics. With a gentle, but also powerful voice, she combines the character of music and lyrics and completes the musical picture.
So it works to put together completely foreign creative minds to create something harmonious, which, however, holds special highlights on different levels.
