Tom Lune is a singer and guitarist from Lyon, offering us a dreamy yet observant pop sound. After a rich musical journey with various bands, including Presquils (Smart Sony Music) and Charlie (Athome/Wagram), the talented guitarist Gaëtan Verrier Bert returns with a "celestial" persona named Tom Lune. With 20 years of experience as a guitarist, he draws inspiration from bands like Nirvana and Radiohead to shape his musical identity.
This solo project is a continuation of his former band Presquils, where he truly discovered French pop music, influenced by artists such as Les Innocents, L'Affaire Louis' Trio, Jacques Higelin, and Nino Ferrer. With this background, he embarks on an unreserved album centered around his unique voice.
With intricate riffs, vibrant melodies, and lyrics filled with delicate poetry, Tom Lune embraces an organic musical universe that knows no boundaries. He embodies this anti-hero, addressing the challenges of being oneself in a structured world, while also highlighting the hope carried by those dreamers who never give up.
