Fortress, consisting of Hanne Torfs (vocals and production), Joppe Vanwetswinkel (keys), and Nils Tijtgat (bass), has been making waves in the music scene. They were artists in residence by the renowned concert venue, Trix, who called them "the hardest working band in town." During this period, the trio not only wrote numerous new songs but also recorded a cinematographic concert film and refined their energetic live show.
Their captivating sound has caught the attention of radio stations Studio Brussel and Radio 1, with Torfs being hailed as "the Roísín Murphy of Belgium." Music blogs have showered them with praise, recognizing the unique and alluring qualities of their music. In february 2022 Fortress released their first EP ‘Dreamscape’ and the band is now ready to release their new work.
