Boris Le Mat is a french flamenco guitarist, composer and producer.
He started learning guitar at the age of 14, stunned listening to Led Zeppelin, AC/DC and Metallica !!
His first compositions and stage experiences were with the bands Dusk (atmospheric metal) and Higgins (punk-hardcore).
In 2000 he turned to other musical horizons and discovered jazz, classical music, flamenco and world music.
He studied flamenco guitar in Andalusia with internationally recognized guitarists : Manolo Sanlúcar, José Antonio Rodriguez, Paco Serrano, Manolo Franco, Niño de Pura, Gerardo Nuñez, José Luis Balao, Fernando Moreno, Pilar Alonso, Miguel Ochando, Gabriel Expósito, Diego del Morao and José Ignacio Franco.
In 2014 he graduated from the Superior Conservatory of Music Rafael Orozco of Córdoba in flamenco guitar.
In 2022 he recorded his first album of personal compositions, entitled Buscando Colores.
A flamenco guitar record tinged with jazz and impressionist colors.
Buscando Colores was recorded, mixed and mastered by Ramón Salazar at La Azotea studio in Sanlúcar de Barrameda.
