Create resonant fields ...
Laura Inserra is a sound alchemist. She lives and creates at the confluence of music, wisdom schools, and cutting edge technology. She grew up on the volcanic island of Sicily and has been exploring the powerful world of sound since her youngest years.
Both a self-taught and classically trained musician, her career has had many facets — multi-instrumentalist, music teacher, sound therapist, composer, and producer.
A world-renowned Hang musician, Laura plays a large variety of unique ancient and modern instruments - among others Zapotec clay flutes, the Mongolian shamanic jaw harp, Tibetan bowls, the Laotian khen, the Australian didgeridoo, the African djembe, and numerous Western percussions.
She uses music as meaningful entertainment, as a tool for healing, as a boost for intuition, as a facilitator for creativity, as guidance for group retreats, as medicine for inner transformation, as a medium to connect to the intelligence of the body.
In the last decade, Laura has been focusing her work on the universal, transformative, and healing power of sound. Combining her intimate knowledge of music with her studies of ancient schools of wisdom, she developed MetaMusic. Meta means beyond, transcendent. In this unique body of work, music becomes experiential - a tool for self-inquiry, inner guidance, and deep transformation.
Her online and in-person practice is a blend of sound healing, vibrational work, ancient wisdom, and shamanic techniques.
