André Sabbas is a Brazilian guitarist with an academic university education in classical music specializing in classical guitar. He began his university studies at the Federal University of Uberlândia, MG in 1996 and later studied classical guitar at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Madrid. He also studied a master's degree at the University of Barcelona where he defended his Master's thesis on H. Villa-Lobos.
However, although he does not consider himself a rock guitarist, considering his classical guitar education, he has been developing his new project with progressive hard rock music. His influences in rock music are Ritchie Blackmore, Steve Morse, Jeff Beck, Marty Friedman, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani. Both worlds between classical music and rock can work well together.
