Abby 3000 is the solo project of Adrián Cancho, producer and sound designer based in Barcelona. His music is characterized by a clear fascination for rhythm creation and the inclusion of hidden messages in his tracks, blending elements of Ambient, Downtempo, and Breaks.
In 2022, his first release titled "I'm Hot" came to light, a collaboration with producer SN Systema. The track draws influences from D&B/Breaks and incorporates vocals from the classic song "MIMS - This is why I'm Hot."
In 2023, Abby 3000 debuts with "Destined to Be" (Self-Release), an EP consisting of 4 tracks primarily influenced by the early electronic/rave scene of the 90s. During this period, the producer left Barcelona and returned to his hometown Figueres, which profoundly influenced the sound of the EP. Key artists such as Boards Of Canada, Photek, and Basic Channel served as major references that resonated strongly with the producer during the creation of this release.
