Above a garage in an abandoned industrial zone, between car wrecks and petrol fumes, The Flame are putting together compositions in their musical workshop. Combining modern techniques with old elements: upright bass and drum computers? Abbey Road and autotune? Rugged eighties’ synthesizers and mesmerizing guitars? Once the songs roll off the assembly line, all parts fit together like a well-oiled machine in The Flame’s nu-garage pop.
