Charlie is a singer, lyricist and composer based in Stockholm, Sweden. During the last years they have been collaborating with a wide array of musicians from the Swedish music scene such as Frida Johansson [Kraja, Barnet, Säkert!] and Daniel Ögren [Dina Ögon].
Inspired by intimate storytelling tradition and the beauty of the melancholia in Scandinavian folk music, Charlie invites you on a journey through unexplored land consisting of their music, lyrics, thoughts and person.
With their new release - "Midsommar vid Söderbysjön" (Midsummer by the Söderby lake) - Charlie forges a new path on their musical journey and takes a step closer to where they come from - closer to folk rock, jazz and pop from the sixties and the seventies.
”Midsommar vid Söderbysjön” (Midsummer by the Söderby lake) is the first single of four prior to the upcoming album ”Brunnen”, produced together with hammond organist Erik Errka Peterson [Xenia Kriisin]. Singles and album are released on the analoge loving indie record company No Regrets Fonogram.
