DuR ChaToN (Synth Pop Electro Clash / Strasbourg )
Born from the explosive meeting between singer and visual artist Sophie Laronde and music producer Moldav, DuR ChaToN is a duo from Strasbourg who boldly merge genres.
Their music, a clever mix of synth pop and electroclash, is supported by texts in French which oscillate between beauty and darkness, reflecting the contrasts of our world.
After revisiting classics such as “Alcatraz” by Michel Legrand or “Dancing Barefoot” by Patti Smith, they quickly stood out with original compositions where post punk, witch house and ambient influences intersect. Their debut single, “Ragin Balt,” caused a sensation when it was released in 2022, propelling it onto national and local airwaves
The duo invites us to dive into their world with their two EPs, “Douce vie dure” and “Les yeux qui brillent un peu trop" odes to the duality between softness and hardness.
