Kaelynn Hayes is an 18-year-old singer-songwriter from Chicago. She has been singing since she was 7 years old and discovered her love of music through karaoke. In 2020, she learned how to play guitar and piano, and began posting covers to TikTok, where she was praised for her unique and captivating lower range.
In 2022, she started focusing on writing new original music, inspired by the likes of Adele and early Tate McRae. In 2023, she starred in the Nike Jordan "Beyond" campaign alongside Teyana Taylor who musically directed the project.
