Pascow is a German-language punk rock band founded in 1998. Like the Ramones, all band members have the same surname, Pascow. After a few demo recordings, Pascow's debut album Richard Nixon Discopistole was released in 2002. The single "Trampen nach Norden" ("Hitchhiking to the North" ) became an indie hit. On the two albums that followed, Geschichten, die Einer Schrieb... (2004) and Nächster Halt Gefliester Boden (2007), Pascow became much more metal-heavy and aggressive. It was only with the longplayer Jade that Pascow made it into the German album charts at number 47 in 2019. In 2023, Pascow released their seventh studio album with the simple title Sieben. This is the band's first time in the German top 10, reaching number 5.
