My first single, 'How Can I?' is live!
Saxophonist, Producer and DJ Jeffrey Welsh has reemerged as a musician in the Los Angeles scene with his project Where Love Stops Hate (WLSH) after a decade of practicing law and acting as a thought leader in the legal cannabis and entertainment industries.
Prior to his legal career, WLSH was an accomplished saxophonist, notably being the first saxophonist to win the Van Rooy Competition, the nation's largest undergraduate cash prize competition, performing the American premier of Takashi Yoshimatsu's 'Cyberbird Concerto,' internationally touring with the New World Symphony and actively gigging in the Los Angeles television and film studio scene.
Following a year of self-reflection at the outset of the pandemic, WLSH decided to spend a year "living in his studio" to hone his production skills and dust off his saxophone chops. Listeners can expect electronic music with soaring, operatic saxophone heavily layered on top of electronic beats. WLSH will also be releasing a new monthly DJ mix, filled with sax-infused edits of popular dance tracks, every month.
