AciD FlavoR, a Japanese pop-rock group formed in 1999 by Ryo and Tei, two longtime friends. The band initially underwent several line-up changes before solidifying their current formation in 2003. AciD FlavoR's music is characterised by intricate compositions, with songs and melodies crafted by Ryo, who began studying piano at the age of three. The group gained European recognition through performances at Animansion in Belgium in March 2008 and Japan Expo in July 2008. They released their debut single "Higher & Higher" in 2006, followed by album Speed Ball in May 2006, and single "ENISHI/Beside You" in 2007. AciD FlavoR embarked on tours across France and Belgium from October to November 2008, performing at venues like the Café de la Danse in Paris. The group announced their separation in February 2010.
