Chris Copulos, known professionally as Muscles, was born in 1986 or 1987 in Australia and is an electronica musician. In early 2006, Chris released his first album Four Months, a collection of experimental tracks on handmade CD-Rs. His breakthrough came with the single "One Inch Badge Pin", which gained radio play on Triple J in July 2006. Muscles' debut album, Guns Babes Lemonade, was released in September 2007 and peaked at number 14 on the ARIA Album Chart, reaching number 3 on the Australian Artist Chart and Number 1 on the Dance Album Chart. The album included notable tracks "Ice Cream" and "Sweaty". Muscles supported various artists including Hot Chip, Soulwax, and Robyn, and performed at festivals such as Splendour in the Grass and Parklife. In 2008, he embarked on a successful Australian tour promoting the single "The Lake", which sold out multiple shows.
