I'm The New Hov. I'm The New Ghazi.
My name is Bobby Lee. I'm about to be your favorite artist. I knew I was gifted with music, especially lyrics since elementary school. I literally got into a lot of trouble for making music in some form or another during school. In fourth grade, my mother had to have me moved to a different homeroom class because Ms. Johnston thought that me writing songs after completing my homework IN CLASS served as insubordination and a distraction.
I began picking up beat-making around 2006 following the wave of popularity that came to the Soulja Boy song, “Crank That.” I got a copy of FL Studio 7 and never looked back. I started taking beat-making serious during the fall of 2016.
I really started my recording career the fall of 2014. With the help of Doc Genius I became proficient at recording myself. He taught me the basics of recording myself. I was quickly HOOKED on every aspect of music creation. Fast forward to 2020, I’ve vowed to give myself a good old “college try” at finding success in the music industry. I’ve seen some many pitfall and follies of other artists and industry workers. Now it’s just time to make some new mistakes. I hope that you’re along for the ride.
