The Good the Bad and the Zugly (or GBZ) is the bastard child of the 90s Oslo scene in Oslo, these young men carry the torch of Turbonegro, Gluecifer and Anal Babes and remind us of a time when punk rock was a promise of infantile nihilism and pure vicious fun!
With pitch black humor, words of wisdom and Europe's best song titles, Norwegian punk rockers The Good the Bad and the Zugly have built a dedicated following with their blend of panoramic scandi-rock, tongue-in-cheek 90s rock and catchy skate punk.
The band started their career with bunch of out of print 7"s before the release of debut album "Anti World Music" in 2013, "Hadeland Hardcore" in 2015 and "Misanthropical House" in 2018. The latter one got the band a Norwegian Grammy for best rock album in 2018. In 2020 they followed up with the album Algorithm & Blues.
April 8th, 2022, they released "Research and Destroy" which awarded the guys with a new nomination for the Norwegian Grammy for best rock album 2022.
In 2024 the guys are back with some long-hidden gems from the past.
A wonderful new bouquet of contemptuous elegies, a collection of B-songs that never made the list when assembling tracks for previous albums. And as such we unleash a "Decade of Regression" .
2025 sees them return with another album. Stay tuned.
