Born in Mesquita, Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), he began his piano studies only at the age of 19, immediately arousing his interest in composing his own pieces. In 2016, he began studying composition at the Brazilian Conservatory of Music (CBM). Four years later, he released his first album “Remain Silence”, presenting simple pieces of his own on the piano.
Rizzo seeks in the movements of nature and in the impermanence of things, incorporating minimalist and deeply nostalgic traits in his interpretations. His favorite composers are Chopin, Schumann and Ludovico Einaudi, who in different ways are revered for their delicate way of building simple, evocative and sentimental melodies.
