BONSAI KITTEN – the name has been seen countless times, and one can find a sticker of the band s logoin almost every club nationwide in Germany. But what kind of music does this band, led by frontwoman and founder "Tiger Lilly" Marleen, actually play?
Musically, the band's style has also evolved over the years from punk-a-billy to rock and rock with metal and blues influences. Singer Marleen has restructured her band with metal drummer Marc Reign (ex-Destruction) and blues-rock guitarist Wally. And together with Spoxx on the 3-string bass, BONSAI KITTEN take their trailblazing predecessor "LOVE AND LET DIE" (2020) to the next level with the album LET IT BURN. (30.08.2024)!
"I WONDER" is the first new high-energy single marking BONSAI KITTEN's return. As a precursor to their new album, this song brims with anger and disbelief at human behavior while simultaneously sowing faith for the near future.
With nationwide headlining tours, concerts in Finland, Italy, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, and even as far as Bangkok, as well as headlining tours in Hungary and England, festival appearances including Rock im Park, Metal Hammer Paradise, Rhurpott Rodeo, Satanic Stomp, Rebellion Punk Music Festival and support shows for bands such as The BossHoss, Dick Dale, D-A-D, Nashville Pussy,The Toy Dolls and New Model Army, plus a duet with Jesper Binzer of D-A-D in a new version of "WAR PIGS“ in 2023, this band has a history worth noting. Likewise their sweat-drenched and energetically fused live-shows.
