A native of the Ville Rose, singer-songwriter Maheva embodies a radiant vivacity, blending the energy of a Toulouse downpour with the Malagasy sweetness of her origins. Winner of an international music competition in 2019, she flew to Los Angeles, but saw her progress held back by the Covid-19 pandemic. True to form, Maheva persevered and turned to social networks, where she met with dazzling success.
She quickly built up an active community of over 300,000 followers. Her content, often liked, commented on and shared by artists such as Vianney, Orelsan and BigFlo & Oli, now totals over 30 million views. Surrounded by a talented team, including Igit (co-writer of Barbara Pravi's Voilà) on songwriting and Matthieu Tosi (Amir, Vianney, Fréro Delavega...) on production, Maheva relies on her two greatest strengths: her guitar, which she never leaves, and her groovy, singular voice.
Through her songs, Maheva sheds light on the different facets of her life: her sometimes successful, sometimes disappointed loves, her identity, her origins, and her vision full of utopia and hope. Her music, a sunny, unifying and heady pop, offers a modern and sincere take on French variety.
Following the success of her debut EP Avec un H, released in June 2024, Maheva will be back with new tracks in autumn 2024, as a prelude to her 1st album, scheduled for release at the end of August 2025.
