Gabriele, a versatile and passionate artist, hails from Partinico, Sicily, and moved to Paris at the age of 24. Known for his unique voice, Gabriele is not just a singer but a multifaceted artist inspired by various forms of art including music, dance, juggling, and puppetry. Embracing his Italian roots and blending them with French sensitivity and aesthetics, he has cultivated a love for beauty and elegance.
From a young age, Gabriele was deeply passionate about music, following in the footsteps of his five brothers. He learned to play the guitar and took singing lessons with Sicilian singer Jo Rizzo, who later chose him as a backup singer for her shows and tours in Sicily. He also joined the Sicilian folk theater group ZappalĂ , performing as both a singer and actor.
Upon moving to Paris, Gabriele pursued various training programs in singing, theater, Caribbean dances, puppetry, and musical theater, earning numerous certificates and diplomas. In 2016, he joined a group of young singers produced by Catherine De Leon Moreau to record an album of French songs for humanitarian purposes.
Gabriele launched his solo career as a singer-songwriter in early 2020, collaborating with Jacqueline Taieb and Jean-Claude Dequèant to co-produce the song “Jusqu’à ce que l’amour nous sépare,” a pop song about a forbidden love between two men. This collaboration resulted in an EP featuring the title track “L’amour fou,” which aired on national TV channels CSTAR and IDF1. The remix of “L’amour fou” gained popularity in various French, English, and Brazilian playlists, accompanied by a music video shot in the scenic landscapes of Sicily.
In 2021, Gabriele returned to the Italian music scene with great success, receiving attention from national press, radio, and television. He joined AG Group in 2022, distributed by Universal Music France, and achieved significant success with his French version of Tiziano Ferro's iconic pop song “Perdono,” reaching second place in the Top 40 Club France chart for several weeks. He climbed the Italian charts with “Super-héros” (Mi supererò), which became the most played song on Italian radio, and continued his success with “Auguri,” performing as the opening act for Davide De Marinis in the summer of 2023.
Gabriele is set to release his next single, “Un espoir,” which promises to be a powerful and authentic piece. Reflecting on his artistic journey, Gabriele expresses his commitment to embracing his unique voice and vision, offering hope and taking his audience on an engaging musical journey.
