In January 2011, La Française recorded his first album « Audiography#1 » in a 3 hours live session at studio Omega (Suresnes, France), with the participation of the pianist of «Aliplays», and 2 performers in compu- ter improvisations. None of these guests do not know the compositions of « La Françasie ». They are asked to react instinctively and improvise.
The album was released in digital and vynil in March 2012.
In June 2012, the band flought to Dublin to start recording the second album at Windmill Lane (U2, Van Morri- son ...). A few days before departure, Jim Yu announces he quits. Then Junior Rodriguez (« Darkness Dynamite », « Sui- cide Pool ») is called to replace urgently.
Then the band called a guest, Olivier de La Celle (better known in France under the name of Baron Oli) who accompanies the band artistically, both in production as performance on the piano.
The week ends with a concert recorded in Dublin during the festival «Let’s French festival» organized by the «Alliance Française in Dublin» and released in September 2012 as a live 4 tracks EP.
In October 2012 Erik and Jay became residents in London. They meet Peter, the perfect drummer for their music. This meeting weds definitely the band.
Erik, Jay and Peter started touring in February 2013, in Universities, Colleges, small and big venues, in front of a 50 to 500 people audience.
Suddenly, the fan base started to raise from 200 to 2,000. Then 10,000 to 50,000. But what is really surprising is that their best audience is North Africa, Asia, and USA... Time are changing !
