Tamunotonye Joshua Pokima, better known as "TJP", is a Nigerian singer, producer and mixing & mastering engineer who was born on May 6, 2002 in Port Harcourt, Nigeria, and hails from Rivers State. He was born into a Christian family in Port Harcourt and grew up singing in high school. TJP describes his music as Afro-Fusion, a fusion of Afrobeats, RnB, Pop, Soul and Hip-Hop. His musical intuition ushers in the next phase of AfroBeat evolution. He grasps the bases of his stories from fiction and real things that happens around him and translates it into resounding melodies with an excellent pen game, while fusing Afrobeat, RnB, Pop, Soul and Hip-Hop and adding a touch of diversity and uniqueness to his sound. His music is an expression of his inner self, containing raw, unfiltered thoughts and emotions. His music's spiritual essence evokes a sense of inclusiveness in people of all ages.
