Waan Heart Band is a live reggae band based in Île-de-France, founded by Systa Ny.
At the crossroads of Reggae music paths, Waan Heart Band emerged in the reggae scene in early 2020 after its musicians met during jam sessions led by the charismatic Systa Ny.
These "One Heart Sessions" aimed to create connections between musicians/singers; it was observed that many singers do not have a live band due to a lack of resources. Therefore, out of love for Reggae, Systa Ny decided to form the group to accompany them.
Reggae is about sensation, fusion, blending, and a mix of inspirations. Influenced by the standards of Jamaican roots and nu-roots Reggae, dancehall, and legendary deejays/singjays, the group began working with Royal Keep (founder members of Onylee Crew), a veteran of the French Reggae scene.
The group is a true musical powerhouse that brings together an infernal bass-drum duo. Since 2021, the band has been performing in the IDF region, accompanying different singers/singjays and quickly making a name for themselves with their talent.
Each musician excels in their field. Power and relaxation coexist in their sets, where instrumental solos take pride of place. The group is a real family where everyone contributes expertise and professionalism, which is rarely found in underground circles. Barely out of their suburban origins, WH already has all the attributes of a great band, encouraged by their sisters and brothers, independent and autonomous, making connections.
On the production side, the band took advantage of the pandemic to record 4 fully self-produced riddims, which they quickly decided to share.
In 2021, they released their first single with ROYAL KEEP, "YouthMan," an engaged, wise, and positive track that earned them initial visibility on the regional scene.
In 2022, Waan Heart Band revealed their second Riddim [Gold Riddim ©], featuring again ROYAL KEEP, as well as a recognized name in French Reggae, STRAÏKA D, and highlighting an artist the group has been fond of and collaborating with for some time, LGM. The result was particularly successful, skillfully blending the various influences of reggae through these 3 singers and their captivating Gold Riddim©. This 3-track EP titled "Gold Riddim"© is a must-discover on all platforms.
In 2023, Waan Heart Band unveils a third Riddim titled Western Riddim ©, featuring this time a renowned name from the French reggae hip-hop scene, SIR SAMUEL (Saïan Supa Crew); also the talented M-SYLA, a figure of the Reggae scene in Île-de-France with multiple projects, with whom Waan Heart Band has been working since 2022, and once again ROYAL KEEP. Then a new EP produced on what has become their "YouthMan Riddim," this time with the collaboration of Sista Jahan (Reggae Victories 2022), Jah Nool, originally from Ivory Coast, and LGM, who has already collaborated with us on our "Gold Riddim."
Also worth noting is a second collaboration with Sir Samuel, who once again teams up with Waan Heart Band to offer the live version of the single Voie Lactée.
