Saroy TNP(The Ndebele Prince) is a Zimbabwean-born, South African-based Afrobeatz,Afro pop/soul Mult-talanted artist and producer.
He was born and bred in Matabeleland South at St Anne’s (Brunaberg) hospital between the two cities of Plumtree and Bulawayo, in the small township of Nketa 7.
SaroyTNP is currently based in Johannesburg, South Africa, working with Johannesburg-based record label 031recordz and Sheer Africa Publishing Music Company.
In 2020 he released his studio debut E.P “Two Sided” (2020) which propelled him to be nominated as a “Best Newcomer” at the 011 City Awards hosted in Johannesburg.
He was heavily influenced by legends such as the late Lucky Dube, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Tupac,Xxxtentacion,Zahara,Cal_Vin Luveve Boy and Oliver Mtukudzi while growing up, and current influences are Sjava and many more. He is inspired by fuses lsintu, Maskandi, Reggae, Dancefloor,Afro beatz ,Afro pop/soul ,Trap & Hip Hop.
SaroyTNP’s Southern Afrobeatz sounds are also influenced by the Steady Rock Reggae subgenre. Compared to the fast-paced sounds from the Northern parts of Africa.
He is currently working on his 2nd E.P titled “Indosakusa” featured various African artists which is gonna be released early this year and his debut full-length album titled “UNKNOWN I Made in Africa” with 18 Afrobeatz tracks like “Ndiwe song” which also features Malawian Award Winning Artist Sithe and many more African talents....
