Leteci odred is a Croatian pop band founded in Osijek by its frontman Denis Dumančić, who is also their main composer and songwriter. The band began their serious musical career in 1992, when they were discovered, supported and launched by Husein Hasanefendić, better known as Hus, a recognized as leader of “Parni valjak". From 1992 to 2020, Leteci odred released a total of thirteen albums; ten studio albums, one live album from the concert in “Dom sportova Zagreb”, two compilation- Best of albums, and 3 videos from the concert in the “Dom sportova”.
The band achieved great success with the original songs of frontman Denis Dumančić. During his long career, "Leteci odred” sold tens of thousands of albums and achieved several gold and silver circulations, and filled the hall of Dom sportova Zagreb three times. The author of most of the songs and their frontman and singer, Denis Dumančić, has established himself on the Croatian music scene in recent years as one of the most performed authors based on a report by the Croatian Society of Composers. So far, as a composer, he has composed several songs by many well-known artists in Croatia.
