The 25 year old artist hailing from Waterford,Ireland burst onto the Irish scene towards the end of 2018 with strong trap singles like "Love Bites" , "Reason", "Shining" and joint EP "Recess" with Dublin rapper RikShaw and trap producer LHK.
In return, he received a lot of backing from Spotify and became the cover of “The New Éire '' [2018] and “Free Form” [2020].
Pat gained traction through his relentless workrate and with that came his Hip-Hop/House fusion "Let Loose'' with Waterford electronic producer Evan Miles accumulating over half a million streams to date, supporting US rapper Token in The Academy & headlining Culture Night 2019 at the age of 19. Pat gave listeners an insight into headspace with his highly anticipated debut EP 'Box Room' in 2020 that received high praise across Ireland and the UK.
Unless his ability to read the future has reached oracle level, Pat Lagoon couldn’t have known his concept for Box Room would be so on point. The artwork accompanying the rapper’s first solo EP features the kind of small bedroom that a lot of young people have been confined to as they’re forced to distance themselves from work, education and their peers. Outside the window is a futuristic cityscape bathed in purple light signalling that beyond the four walls is either the end of the world or the greatest party this planet has ever seen.
This enabled Pat to be listed as a Top 30 Irish Artist of 2020 by The Irish Times.
