The album "Madrugada" was conceived through years of experience and reflection about what it is and how to play in trio.
My vision of music always had a lot to do with my life experiences, each book read, each situation lived changed my way of playing. I never looked for something static in music, but I always try to translate the moment. The more I realize that the sound is reflecting what I'm feeling, the more satisfied I am, and this has nothing to do with technique or complexity, but with the identity of the moment. Sometimes you just need a note to express an idea, sometimes forty, it's like an equation where you need to give an answer for everything to be in balance, even if that balance sounds chaotic or silent.
In this musical game, nothing better than to count on other "players". Playing in a trio, we have a perfect scheme and infinite possibilities, where everyone is rhythm, melody and harmony. It is like a machine with random but synchronized movements, where the onslaught of one is the retreat of the other, the indecision of one is the affirmation of the other, and all this happens in three spheres that overlap and contrast, giving life to something unique and overwhelming.
