Hugues Rey, who performed under the pseudonym Bobmo until 2017, is a French electronic music artist and DJ from Bordeaux. He began his career by releasing the debut EP Let's Go Bobmo in 2007 on the label Institubes. This was followed by several EPs, including To the Bobmobile (2008), 3000% Yes (2008), and Falling From the Crescent Moon (2010). In 2014, he released his first studio album, New Dawn, which marked a shift towards more melodious compositions. His style evolved from the hard-hitting ghetto house of the 2000s to a softer, more melodic sound in the following decade. He subsequently abandoned his pseudonym and released his second album, Communication, under his real name in 2017, followed by the album Whiteout in 2018. He also worked with the duo project High Powered Boys, releasing EPs such as Sounds of Cain EP (2008) and Streetwise EP (2012).
