NNELLA likes to scratch that itch. With a hint of irony - and a penchant for the absurd. The Austrian Art Pop musician who currently lives in Berlin has started releasing music on her own record label “very hairy records” in 2020. Ever since she has received two Sound@V Awards for her Debut Album “Dear Beloved Asshole,” – as well as a film festival award at the Crossing Europe Festival Linz for the music video of her song “I Accept”.
NNELLA has played support for names such as Roo Panes, Sophie Hunger, CATT and My Ugly Clementine.
Her new Album “Close To A Reality” was released in April 2024 and is written in Englisch as well as NNELLA’s mother tongue “Vorarlbergerisch”, a German dialect spoken in the very west of Austria. An emotional rollercoaster celebrating the highs and lows in life - while trying to make sense of it all.
