Will Watt, a rising star in the vibrant House scene is known for his seamless blend of House, Tech, Disco, and Hard House as well as being a proud member of the LGBTQ+ community. In the last year, he’s been raising industry heads, capturing the attention of tastemakers alike with his dynamic, diverse discography.
Hailing from Plymouth, Devon, Will's musical journey began with influences ranging from the electrifying beats of Scooter and Darren Styles to the soulful tunes of Johnny Cash and Nina Simone. This led to him taking the leap into learning how to mix from the age of 12 and venturing into DJ’ing at the age of 17. From there, Will has performed sets at many coveted Clubs and festivals including: We Are FSTVL, ADE, EGG LDN, Ministry of Sound, Basing House, Fabric, Budafest and more.
Over the past 12 months, Will has dedicated himself to crafting a distinct brand and sound. This period of focused creativity has seen his artistic identity flourish, resulting in a collection of energetic, melodically pleasing records that exude both fun and sass. Whether in the studio or on stage, Will's music radiates with vibrant energy and his charismatic persona. And as an active member of the LGBTQ+ community, Will strives to create a safe space for young ravers. Resulting in BBC Radio 1’s tastemaker Arielle Free picking up his club record ‘El Trompetta’ this summer for her own label ‘Free Your Mind’.
Watt has since gone on to sign a deal with the ever-credible record label ‘Another Rhythm’ (home to the likes of Enzo is Burning, Fish56Octagon and Le Boom), setting the stage for the next year.
Collaborating with a diverse array of artists including George Reid & DJ Susan, JADED, Kideko, and Kyle Watson, and working hard on his solo project, his unwavering dedication and commitment to making a mark among his peers and influences are setting the stage for an exciting journey for him into the heart of the music scene.
