Rukundo Gustave (aka Gustave Fuel) is a Rwandan singer/songwriter and rising star in the Afro Soul crossover scene. His music blends various styles and eras, including Afrobeat, Drill, and many others, resulting in a unique and delightful sound. Fuel's passion for music dates back to his time as a member of the Eglise presbyterienne au Rwanda Pentecost choir, where he learned to play various instruments and fell in love with the art form.
Fuel's musical journey started in 2020 during the Covid-19 pandemic, and he has since collaborated with artists such as Okkama, Lawrenzo & Logan Joe. He is signed to Mugikari Ent, a record label with a presence in Africa, the US, and Europe. The label also represents another talented artist, Ogarex, who will be releasing his debut single soon.
In 2022, Gustave Fuel released his debut album, The Lion's Tears which was produced by Alhaji Tunga a Nigerian producer who has worked with industry giants such as Davido, Chris Brown, and Wizkid. Fuel's music has already earned him recognition, and he has performed alongside Nigerian stars Ruger and Babyboy AV in the Drip City Concert.
