Yaniv Kitlaru is a singer-songwriter, performer, and producer. His slightly darker and unique melancholic sound takes the listener through a journey of self-exploration and reflection that resembles the emotional roller coaster trip of life.
Yaniv was born in Haifa, in the northern district of Israel, on 16 July 1975, and in 2021 released his first EP "Learning to Float", after many years of experimenting and playing various instruments and in multiple bands. The cover version for "Shavir" (pronounced sha-veer in Hebrew), one of the most well-known songs by Israeli iconic singer, Arik Einstein, reveals to the listener the alternative way Yaniv observes everyday axioms.
“Music transports us to another dimension, another time and place. It has the power to cure and heal, create a new reality and a better world.”
