Margitta und ihre Töchter was a German vocal quartet consisting of Margitta Weise and her three daughters: Carina, Anja, and Maria. The family began singing together in the early 1990s and became musically independent as a quartet in 1995. Their first success came in 1996 with the hit single "Mutti, du bist unser bestes Stück", leading to the release of their debut album Unser bestes Stück that same year. The quartet participated in the Grand Prix der Volksmusik in 1998, achieving a fourth-place finish with "Liebe macht alles wieder gut", and later reached the tenth place in 2000 with "Liebe trocknet alle Tränen". The group disbanded in 2007 following a farewell concert.
