Monét X Change

Kevin Akeem Bertin, performing under the stage name Monét X Change, is an American drag queen, singer, and podcaster born on February 19, 1990, in Brooklyn. Bertin established a musical background in opera at Westminster Choir College before beginning a drag career in 2012. They were featured in the tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race in 2018, where Bertin received the title of Miss Congeniality. Bertin won the fourth season of RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars (2019) and finished as runner-up in the seventh season (2022). The recording career included the song “Soak It Up” (2018) and the debut album Unapologetically (2019). Subsequent releases featured the comedy album Fist of Glory (2023) and the project Grey Rainbow, Vol. 1 (2024). Bertin also co-hosted the podcast Sibling Rivalry.
