Born in São Paulo, Nayra Lays began her artistic project in 2016, and since then has explored black music languages and styles such as RAP and, more recently, samba rock and pagode, with the aim of telling her story and co-create life narratives about black people, continuing their legacies in culture. Over the course of his eight-year career, he has partnered with brands such as Red Bull, Resso, Bradesco, YouTube and others, reaching more than 100,000 streams on Spotify organically and independently on his debut EP “Orí”. In her first studio album, “Feita de Samba”, Nayra delves into a contemporary mix of black music from São Paulo, with emphasis on pagode and samba rock and pop languages and R&B 2000, addressing themes such as love, sexuality, mourning and self-knowledge.
