EST Gee was born and raised in Louisville, KY, a place he says no one would ever visit on vacation. From a young age, he always “absorbed music differently.” His Dad turned him on to the likes of Jeezy, UGK, and Scarface, his grandma also shared his love of rap. Gee studied beats and instrumentation and at the same time, he excelled in basketball and football under the shadow of the streets. He made his debut with “New Number” during 2018 as he kicked the door down for 2019 projects such as El Toro and Die Bloody. Along the way, he also joined fellow Louisville spitter Jack Harlow on the Confetti standout “Rotten.” Pitchfork named 2020’s “Get Money” as “The must-hear rap song of the day” and claimed, “EST Gee establishes the sound of his Louisville.” After a slew of releases he signed to CMG/Warlike/Interscope Records. Gee has received two Gold certifications for hit songs, '5500 Degrees', which featured Lil Baby, 42 Dugg, and Rylo Rodriguez, as well as for the 'Special Remix' with Moneybagg Yo. While working on his own highly anticipated sophomore album release, Gee has also been busy with the releases of his collab album with label mate and good friend 42 Dugg titled "Last Ones Left" as well as being one of the most impressive and cut through artist on CMG's compilation album "Gangsta Art".
