Matt is a musician, singer, songwriter & former drummer & co-songwriter in the UK guitar band Gene (1994-2004). He was also was a member of the bands The Go Hole, Spin, & Palace Fires. He left the music industry in 2008 but has recently returned in 2021 as a solo artist. He is currently recording his debut solo album with producer Stephen Street (Blur, The Smiths) & the first recording from it is now streaming here! Gene had success around the world including many UK top 40 hits & top 10 Lp's. They also toured the world extensively headlining many gigs & appearing at major music festivals.
