A quartet in a DUO, two voices, a viola, and a cello—this is how we define ourselves. The string instruments resonate closely with the human voice: delicate yet virtuosic simultaneously. We sing in Catalan, Spanish, English, and Flemish, sometimes in our made-up language picking traditional songs from here and there and mixing them with our original music. You can’t define our music to one genre, our repertoire whispers contemporary classical notes, jazz rhythms, roots of tradition, and Brechtian cabaret tales. Music emerges as our vessel for storytelling, for sharing the intimacy that cradled us since youth.
