Nigerian born Afrobeat Singer/songwriter and performer, Amos Ogbuagu Uka is professionally known as DIIONDE,
Was born in ikeja Lagos state, Nigeria, on 29th June 2000.
He has always been a music lover since his childhood. He focused more on watching MTV BASE, TRACE TV, SOUND CITY, NIGEZIE, and HIP-TV, hoping to get inspired just to watch his favorite Afrobeat idols perform their songs on TV
He began making his own music during his middle school in Lagos, Fortunately for him, One of his classmate back in middle school picked interest towards DIIONDE’s passion for music, which they began to Practice on how to make music together at his friends house.
DIIONDE Recorded his first home single with a Desktop voice recorder i.e his first song was made with a Computer voice recorder not a studio recording software. Which made him the big talk in school but the story didn’t end there, he continue to strive alongside with his friend, getting more knowledge on how to make music and finally they end up with a producing software called Fruityloops. DIIONDE was more focused on getting better with his musicality and talent while his friend was more focused on making beats and learning more ways to music production.
He has also participated on music shows like GOLDBLOCKPARTY in ACCRA GHANA, which he won, and was announced as the NEXT GOLD YFM PERFORMER in 2022.
