Glimji’s take home from growing up engrossed in Manchester’s irreverent music culture
has lead him to a sound that casually flutters through bright electronic rave synths and
bumpy saturated drums that are put through this lens of psychedelia that is easily
attributable to the late 80s and early 90s “Madchester” movement; but with the
songwriting and fun playfulness of a Britpop record or a trance / uk garage beat straight
out of the 2000s.The only thing that seems to remain consistent throughout his work so far is pure, immutable euphoria.
