Fire Code is an American band founded in 1994 by Ricky Blaze (lead singer), Cole Ashton (guitarist and secondary vocalist), Dax Ryder (drummer), and Jace Wilder (guitarist). In 2007, Ricky Blaze took his own life, and Cole Ashton left the band. In 2010, Travis Steele joined Fire Code as the lead singer. In 2015, Travis Steele left, and Cole Ashton returned as the lead singer. He recorded several albums, including the EP Face Swapped, with an extremely limited budget of 20 euros for all the songs, resulting in unfinished tracks.
By the end of 2020, after the other members deemed the new single It's Sex completely sloppy, Cole Ashton was ousted from the band. In 2021, Mason Hayes (guitarist) and Lena Ashford (vocalist) joined Fire Code, bringing new energy and high-quality music back to the group.
